RN-BSN Accelerated Program

Are you already a licensed registered nurse?  Do you want to serve the health care field in new ways and develop additional skills?

Some career paths are open only to nurses with a Bachelor of Arts in Nursing or a master’s degree.  Alvernia University’s RN to BSN completion program is an affordable and convenient way to broaden your advancement opportunities. The RN-BSN program is designed for registered nurses who are graduates of diploma or associate degree nursing programs.

Completing our program will prepare you for specialized nursing or management positions. You will benefit from a broad-based education, which employers value, in such areas as communication, literature, and medical moral theology. You will also learn about concepts and theories that impact contemporary nursing, in addition to developing leadership and management abilities.

We understand the challenge of balancing work and personal life. Classes are offered evenings and weekends to fit your busy schedule.

Although Alvernia's RN-BSN program does not require SAT or NLN competency exams, there are specific admissions requirements. Further your potential to serve a growing patient population. Enroll in our accredited RN to BSN completion program today!

Visit the curriculum page or review the RN to BSN Student Handbook to learn more about the RN-BSN completion program, approved by the Pennsylvania Department of Education and accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).

“The professors encouraged professionalism in dress, speech, and conduct—and it has paid off! I have my dream job in the hospital of my choice. I’d say that’s pretty good for a new grad.”
