According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, employment of advertising, marketing, promotions, public relations, and sales managers is expected to increase by 12 percent through 2016. The outlook for employment of public relations managers specifically is slightly better —17 percent growth between 2006 and 2016.
