BioDolores Bertoti grew up in the Philadelphia area, residing in Berks
County for the past 29 years. She graduated from Temple University in
1975 with a BS. in Physical Therapy and went on to earn an advanced masters
degree at the same university. Dolores Bertoti oversees the freshman
academic experience through the College Success Program, coordinates
and implements faculty development activities and serves as the Dean
for the Center for Academic Advancement. Dean Bertoti also is a tenured
associate professor at Alvernia College where she teaches in the areas
of sciences. Dolores has authored over 20 publications and presents several
workshops annually in the areas of applied neuroscience, kinesiology
and electrotherapy. She has just published a textbook entitled Functional
Neurorehabiliation Through the Life Span (F.A. Nov 2004) Dolores is married for 26 years to William who is a teacher
at Pottstown High School. They have a 22-year-old son, Christopher, who
is a graduate
