business student organizations: Phi Beta Lambda, The Institute of Management
Accountants, the Society for Human Resource Management, and Students
in Free Enterprise, and the Sport Management Association.
Phi Beta Lambda
Phi Beta Lambda is the national professional organization for college
students who are interested in business careers. FBLA-PBL, Inc. has a
combined membership in excess of 200,000 nationwide.
Institute of Management Accountants
The Institute of Management Accountants is the world's largest organization
for management accountants and financial managers.
Society for Human Resource Management
The Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) is the leading organization
of the human resource profession, representing the interest of over 65,000
professionals and 6,000 student members from around the world.
Students in Free Enterprise
Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE) is a global non-profit organization
active in more that 40 countries, funded by financial contributions from
corporations,
entrepreneurs,
foundations,
government agencies and individuals. SIFE members develop community outreach
projects relating to Market Economics,
Success Skills, Entrepreneurship, Financial Literacy, and Business Ethics.
Sport Management Association
The Sport Management Association (SMA) promotes sport and the field
of sport management, through a multitude of different programs and events.
