Institute of Management Accountants

Student affiliate chapters have been developed to help students prepare for successful careers in the accounting field. The Alvernia College IMA Student Chapter is sponsored by the Reading IMA Chapter. This affiliation provides students with opportunities to meet and interact with accounting and finance professionals, to participate in IMA functions, and to be an active part of the national organization. Many Alvernia students have secured internships, full-time employment, and scholarships as a direct result of their IMA affiliation.
