Addiction Studies Faculty

The program's commitment to excellence is exemplified through its recruitment and selection of faculty. The faculty includes nationally recognized educators and published professionals, as well as top-level administrators who are actively involved with the daily changes that are occurring in the health care environment. Because the faculty practitioners are involved in the professional workplace dealing the actual topics that they are teaching, the classroom materials become as current and relevant as that day's events. This highly trained faculty provides a balance of academic accreditation with the experience of the field that creates a rewarding and enriching classroom environment.

These current practitioners teach in their area of expertise and can relate the textbook theory to the real-world experience. This dedicated group of educators is also a valuable source of networking and mentoring concerning employment and intern placements. The faculty have the objective of providing the level of instruction that is needed to successfully enter the professional workplace or continue studies in graduate school.
