Good progress is being made on the new main campus entryway project. Final paving of the driveway is complete, and lighting has been installed. An 8-foot round bronze seal has been installed in the center of the arrival court. Landscaping is nearly complete, and statue reinstallations are scheduled. Visit for photos of the projects.

Demolition is in progress for the Welcome Center inside Francis Hall. New stairs have replaced the sloped floor in the entry hallway and drywall installation is nearly complete.

A covered shuttle bus shelter is being added to the shuttle stop between Bernardine Hall and the Student Center. The campus map will be located on the front exterior panel of the shelter, and there will be places inside the shelter for announcements. Last year facilities shuttled 88,522 people.

Other projects include the nearly complete roof replacements across campus (repairing hailstorm damage) and creation of a facilities and operations hub at Morgantown Road that will include renovated restrooms as well as short and long-term storage of materials and equipment for campus departments. New grounds maintenance and machine shops on the first floor will also be used by the Theatre Department.
