Faculty Excellence


Fall faculty excellence grants awarded include: Jim Drummond, math & science dept., research project - temperature impacts on behavior; Ana Ruiz, psychology & counseling dept., book project - Psychological Literacy, Service Learning and the Public Good: Theory, Research, and Practice; and Christopher Wise, allied health & human services dept., research project - development of service learning experiences in physical therapy education.

John Rochowicz’s article "Parametric Statistics and the General Linear Model" was published in Spreadsheets in Education.

Tufan Tiglioglu published “Estimation Window and the Power of Event Study” in the Pennsylvania Economic Review. He also presented two papers co-authored with Ph.D. student Sean J. Cullen at the Pennsylvania Economic Association Conference.

Terry Adams presented "Enhancing your Communication Skills with Culturally Diverse Clients" for the Berks County Aging and Disability Resource Center.

Carry Fitzpatrick and Ryan Lange presented “A Pilot Investigation of Goffman’s Self-Presentation Theory as Applied to LinkedIn” at the Eastern Communication Association Convention.

Bongrae Seok presented "Biological, Cultural and Moral Evolution of Shame: From Survival Strategy and Social Exchange to Moral Excellence" at the 30th Conference on Value Inquiry at Neumann University.
