Spence Stober, a member of the Alvernia faculty for more than 26 years, has been named Alvernia’s second Neag Professor. Spence joins Donna Yarri, his frequent co-author, as the first two professors to earn this distinction. Read more here.
Thanks to the leadership of Karen Thacker, and the grant writing skills of John Luvisi, Alvernia joined the likes of Duke University, the University of Maryland, Texas A&M and seven other schools, as recipients of Nursing Workforce Diversity program federal grants awarded to expand training for nursing students.
