Sacred Heart Convent
Sacred Heart Convent, Motherhouse of the Bernardine Franciscan Sisters, the sponsoring congregation for Alvernia College, was the first building constructed on the scenic 80-acre tract of land.  The main building houses the archives and heritage rooms of the congregation, the Sacred Heart Chapel, and residence wings for members of the congregation. It also houses administrative offices for the U.S. Province of the Bernardine Franciscan Sisters.
