Policies


University policies are governing rules formally approved to provide criteria for the conduct of University business. University policies authorize or constrain actions to enhance the University mission and operational efficiency; mitigate and manage institutional risk; and in some cases, ensure compliance with federal, state and local laws and regulations. The Procurement & Risk Management departmental policies are available in the S:\Business Office\Policies & Procedures of Procurement & Risk Mgmt folder.  Alvernia’s Policies & Procedures Manual is available in the S:\Human Resources\EMPLOYEE INFORMATION - SHARED\Employee Handbook and Policies folder.
