Graduate Programs - Master of Education

The program in urban education leading to a Master of Education degree will contribute to the professional development of educators as they face the challenges of serving children and youth. Exploring research-based theories and methods will provide knowledge and understanding for improving the educational opportunities of these students. Educators will examine the moral and ethical dimensions of teaching in cross-cultural settings. Exploring the various roles of educators as they face the challenges of working with students, parents, other educators, community members promote equity in education.
