First-Year Testing on Connections DaysFriday, June 3 & June 17, 2005
All incoming freshman must take the COMPASS test before registering for classes. The test is a widely accepted nationally used test that is useful for colleges to assess incoming freshman before they actually start college and later on before they graduate. Any student who cannot attend Campus Connections Days must make an individual appointment to take the test with Danielle Saad at 610-796-8423 or LeeAnn Bieber at 610-796-8263. The test consists of one 45 minute essay, one untimed reading comprehension test, and one untimed math test which focuses mainly on pre-Algebra and Algebra. Students can get more information about the test and check out some sample questions by visiting www.act.org/compass For a brochure on what to expect and how to prepare click here.
